Films: Idle Hands (1999)
Alias: Anton Tobias, Mick, and Pnub
Type: Mystical
Location: Civilized Area/Eldritch location
Height/Weight: That of average humans.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: Stoners are often considered to be the low end of comedy. And thankfully, as the 90s ended, so did movies about them to some extent. That's not to say that we didn't get a few interesting stories, though.
History: Anton Tobias is like most stoners, being lazy, directionless, and with equally incompetent friends. Then his right hand got possessed by Satan. Then it killed said friends. Then those guys refused Heaven just so that they could walk amongst the living again. Now a druid is hunting Anton down so that the hand stops doing other unspeakable things while the gang tries to make the most out of most unusual situation.
Notable Kills: The hand scalps a band member after...
Final Fate:...the hand is chopped off, and yet still lives to terrorize Anton's peers. It is only when the Druid strikes it with a ritualistic dagger does the thing finally die. Anton of course dies in a pathetic sex accident, yet stays on Earth with his friends as his guardian angels just so he can be with his girl. Satan is implied to be watching him, though.
Powers/Abilities: Apparently, you can just walk away from Heaven to return as the undead.
Weakness: Holy objects.
Scariness Factor: 3-These guys for the most part commit murders purely by accident, and are otherwise content to waste their afterlives away doing nothing. It's that Satan hand that you need to worry about, as it will find any way to kill you even when severed.
Trivia: -The hand was played by the hand of Christopher Hart, who has also famously provided the performance of Thing from the "Adams Family" franchise. Talk about a dark turn.
-The final confrontation with the hand was originally going to involve a portal to Hell and a "wall of hands", but they didn't feel like that would mesh well with the rest of the film's tone.
